have you seen the way you look?
do you believe the lies they're telling you?
we've been apart for some time now;
I haven't seen you for awhile now.
Still, I don't know how to tell you,
or even if I should try to;
I haven't grown how you're growing,
and I don't know where you're going.
But now that I've come to realize
that you and I have the same eyes,
don't even try to convince me.
I've done my share of convincing.
if I turn my back on you now,
and I turn my head for my lifetime,
maybe you'll grow, maybe not.
might as well give up- why not?
